New RBC showroom in l'Isle sur la Sorgue

Having opened its new showroom in 2016 in the city of brocante and antiques, L'Isle sur le Sorgue, RBC Mobilier chose the first day of the 102nd International Art, Antiques & Brocante Fair for its inauguration.
I have been lucky enough to had been invited to this event and I'd love to share with you some of my photos of this beautiful space.

There was a lot to be inspired by, whether it was the building and its interior architecture by designer Jean-Marie Massaud, or the re-editions of design icons by Fritz Hansen, the Eames couple, Saarinen, etc.

This new RBC Mobiler store has three levels. The third level was added to the existing building in designing the showroom and on one side of the elevator there's a Fritz Hansen studio and on the other side a kitchen area, dedicated to receiving customers but also to host cooking workshops.

To move between the three levels there's not just the elevator but also a large, elegantly rusted, staircase, enhanced by a graphic concrete wall, which I found particularly beautiful (again, by Jean-Marie Massaud). It is quite discreet but at the same time a real eye-catcher covering the entire height of the interior, it's sublime!

In the back of the ground floor you'll find the Espace Vintage with a very agreable terrace on which you're reminded of the fact that you're in L'Isle sur la Sorgue because it overlooks a small canal, including, an authentic old water mill!

Merci / thanks to RBC Mobilier & 14 septembre !
